She led development of the Transit Means Business report highlighting the need for transit investment to support jobs in the region, as well as the #BustedCommute campaign to highlight the need for transportation  investment in Illinois. She serves on various regional stakeholder committees guiding transportation project development. She also leads the MPC Regional Planning, Investments Advisory Committee, comprised of regional business and public policy leaders.

David has a bachelor’s degree in operations and strategic management from Boston College and a master’s in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Michigan. He is a former lecturer at the University of Illinois, Chicago and currently serves on the board of Foresight Design, a nonprofit that provides education and community building for sustainable transformation in the Midwest.

As a transportation planner, Hannah focuses on asset management, urban and rural mobility coordination, and intelligent transportation systems. Her roots in transportation began with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Bradley University. Now with over five years at Tri-County RPC, she has developed a comprehensive understanding of the region's transportation network and leverages that knowledge to improve mobility and livability in Greater Peoria and its communities

      Currently focusing on Connected and Automated Vehicle (CAV) technology and the implications of expanded vehicle sensing and location awareness, he also leads the CAV focus area of DOE’s multi-lab SMART Mobility efforts. Mr. Rask also leads a range of cross-functional projects investigating the integration of machine learning and cyber-security within the mobility space. Prior to joining Argonne, Mr. Rask worked at General Motors in several areas related to electrified vehicle development. He is the co-author of eight patents related to hybrid powertrain architectures and electrified vehicle operation as well as numerous publications in the areas of vehicle systems analysis and technology assessment. Eric has a MS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan and a BS in both Mechanical Engineering and Industrial/Operations Engineering from the University of Michigan

      Sharon is the founder and executive director of the Shared-Use Mobility Center, a public-interest organization which fosters collaboration in shared mobility between public and private sectors, conducts innovative research, develops pilot projects to test shared mobility strategies, and provides advice and technical assistance to cities and regions in order to help extend the benefits of shared mobility for all. Prior to founding SUMC, Sharon was the CEO of IGO Carsharing, the nonprofit organization that started car-sharing in the Chicago region. Under Sharon’s leadership, IGO grew from a pilot project into a successful operating company with 15,000 members. Sharon was also a founder of the national Carsharing Association and Co-Chair of the Transportation Research Board’s Shared Vehicle Committee.

      As Global Lead IT Innovation, Dennis Boecker is responsible for the global IT innovation team that fosters the IoT initiative within Bosch. Using lean startup practices and design thinking approaches, the IT innovation organization facilitates company-wide IoT innovation within Bosch. Within this role, Dennis leads the Chicago Connectory, a new center for IoT co-creation in the Midwest. The Chicago Connectory is a co-creation space that brings together startups, universities, and other corporate partners to drive IoT business models and aims to establish a strong IoT ecosystem for the Chicagoland community and beyond

      As CNT’s Transportation Director, Elizabeth advocates for diverse mobility options that improve the equity, affordability, and sustainability of our transportation system. Before joining CNT in 2019, Elizabeth worked at the Chicago Metropolitan Agency for Planning on evaluating the land use, environmental, and equity impacts of transportation projects, and developing strategies to harness emerging transportation technologies for the region’s long range plan. She previously worked on regional and national transportation and environmental policy at the Union of Concerned Scientists and the Sierra Club. Elizabeth has a Master of City Planning from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Arts in English and Music from Williams College.

       

    • Jacky Grimshaw - Vice President, Government Affair

      Jacky joined CNT in 1992, and has since developed its capacity to engage in public policy advocacy and transportation planning, transportation research, environmental justice, public participation tool development, GIS mapping, community economic development and air quality. Jacky advocated for and provided expertise to increase transit in the Chicago region. She created and led CNT’s transportation and air quality programs for over a decade and led CNT’s Transit Future campaign in the fight for mass transit reform and dedicated funding in the Chicago region. Since 2005, she has led CNT’s policy efforts at all levels of government. 

      Jacky has served on numerous boards, including: Chicago Transit Authority, National Academy of Sciences’ Transportation Research Board’s Environmental Justice and Public Involvement Committees. She has just completed terms on the Women’s Issues in Transportation Committee. 

    • Mark de la Vergne - Chief of Mobility Innovation in Detroit

      Mark de la Vergne serves as the Chief of Mobility Innovation for Mayor Mike Duggan and has been in the role for two years. He is tasked with bringing new mobility services and technologies to Detroit residents. In 2018, this included a first/last mile pilot with Lyft, expanding car share to the neighborhoods of Detroit, overseeing the deployment of 1200 e-scooters and an autonomous shuttle service for the largest employer in Downtown.  Over the next year, his office will explore connected technology at signalized intersections, launch a new microtransit service, and implement mobile payment for all transit in the Detroit region.  Prior to joining the City, Mark worked with cities across North America on transportation projects as a consultant.  He is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania.

    • Oliver Steinig - Vice President of Business Development and Corporate Strategy

       Oliver Steinig is vice president of business development and corporate strategy for Robert Bosch LLC, a position he has held since September 2011. In this position, he is responsible for development and implementation of cross-divisional growth strategies and cross-selling initiatives for Bosch in North America. Steinig is also the champion for innovation at Bosch North America, responsible for running Bosch’s internal accelerator programs, overseeing Bosch startups and managing engagements with the startup ecosystem.

       Prior to his current role, Steinig was vice president of marketing at Robert Bosch Tool Corp., where he was responsible for product, brand and country sales strategies and execution for North and South America.

       Steinig joined Bosch in December 1994 in Germany. Since then he has held positions of increasing responsibility within marketing, sales and strategic business development in the automotive and consumer goods sectors of Bosch in both the U.S. and Germany.

       Steinig earned a master’s degree in electrical engineering from RWTH Aachen University, located in Germany.  

    • Nico Probst - Director of Midwest Government Relations at Lime

       By partnering with local key stakeholders and systematically deploying a fleet of smart-bikes, scooters, and cars that are enabled with GPS, wireless technology, and self-activating locks, Lime is changing urban mobility by making the first and last mile faster and healthier for riders.

       Nico began his career on President Obama’s re-election campaign in 2012 working out of the campaign headquarters in Chicago, IL and has since built an extensive record in national, Illinois and Chicago politics. He previously directed advocacy efforts in support of President Obama’s legislative agenda at Organizing for Action, ran campaigns for local elected officials in Chicago, served as Chicago Government Relations Director for the American Cancer Society and most recently was the Deputy Campaign Manager at Biss for Illinois.

He previously worked for a Chicago public affairs firm, where he helped develop and execute issue advocacy campaigns across industries and sectors.

      Since October 2017, Bernd is Chief Digital Officer Mobility Solutions at Bosch. His focus is on conceptualization, implementation and marketing of new IOT-based business models for the global market and to drive the digital transformation of the Mobility sector at Bosch. He builds on his experience from the fields of IT, communication, and connectivity, artificial intelligence, and data science, which he collected during his 25-year career in the high-tech communication industry. 

      After having been Leading Engineering Manager at Ericsson, Bernd took on a position at Cisco in July 1996 where he was in a managing position in various areas such as sales, technology, marketing, M&A and investment. In Berlin, he opened the Cisco Innovation Center openBerlin in October 2015, with a focus on mechanical engineering and transport/logistic solutions.
