On the evening of December 17, the
Chicago Connectory welcomed member, Bosch Rexroth, as they hosted their meetup
focused on DLT and IIoT solutions. Joe Renz, Managing Director at New Mobility
Studio kicked off the event by introducing the speakers for the night.

Alexander Renz presented the
latest IOTA updates with use cases. He discussed:
· The
Economy of Things and generating data in a secure way
· Human-Centric
System of Systems and ensuring all vehicle and factory data is secure from
hackers
· Open ecosystems
and collaboration with companies including DELL Technologies and the Linux
Foundation
Then, Matteo Dariol spoke about
combining Distributed Ledger Technologies and the Internet of Things domain with
use cases. These use cases included:
· Solving
IIoT problems with DLT and machines as a service
· Dynamic
order scheduling with items and assets
· Using
digital product ID to trace back every item from start to finish
The
evening continued with open questions, discussions and networking.
