dcsimg Urban Mobility Hackathon 2019 | Chicago Connectory

Change the way

chicago moves!

October 25 - 26, 2019

Participate in the 2019 Urban Mobility Hackathon

Help to shape the future of mobility in Chicago and develop solutions to address environmental issues, congestion on roadways, equitable/accessible transportation and demand management. On October 25th and 26th, the Chicago Connectory will be hosting the 2019 Urban Mobility Hackathon.

Using public and proprietary data sets, hackers will break into designated teams to analyze public and private mobility data sets, tackling challenges across four focus areas: Congestion & Traffic Management, Public Transit & Intermodality, First/Last Mile Delivery of Goods and AV Adoption.

This year’s Hackathon will also highlight the importance of participatory research – giving teams the opportunity to collect and analyze their own data sets!

Students will work through the night in the Chicago Connectory before pitching a panel of judges the next afternoon, with three top teams taking home cash and prizes! (Blankets, bean bags and showers provided)

Participation is limited so be sure to apply as soon as possible!
