Q: What is your
name and the name of your startup?
A: Alberto Mannil, Sigfox
Q: How long have
you been working at the Chicago Connectory?
A: Since March 2019, around 4 months
Q: What are you
currently working on?
A: We are working on many projects, with most of my
focus on the Chicago Hacking House. The Hacking House is Sigfox’s global IoT innovation
program. Like a hackathon, participants of the Hacking House develop valuable
solutions to communities and companies but over the course of 3 months.
Q: Why do you work
at the Chicago Connectory? What are its benefits for you?
A: I work at the Connectory because it is the right
ecosystem for the Hacking House. The Connectory contains the right people and
companies because it is an IoT focused space, allowing the participants to have
exposure and the opportunity to collaborate with the right network. They also
have the necessary tools in the IoT lab to build a prototype right there, which
is key to rapid prototyping.
